Welcome to Ambassador Inspections!
We currently serve the North Carolina counties of Chatham, Franklin, Granville, Johnston, Orange & Wake.
We are certified to perform point of sale septic inspections.
We are also certified in both commercial and residential backflow inspections.
*NEW!!!* Ambassador Inspections now offers you the ability to have a visual map of the general location and layout of your septic system, including the tank, distribution box and drain/leach lines. This information can be shown on a map of your homesite, with your home, buildings, out-buildings and other features noted, along with estimated lengths and distances between the septic system and these features. All elements and features are also marked on the map with GPS coordinates.
Ambassador Inspections is now offering a new service, GPS/GIS mapping for septic lines!
GPS/GIS mapping provides a visual layout of a property’s entire septic system, including the tank, distribution box, and leach lines in relation to the house and any additional buildings. It also includes an estimate of the tank’s and lines’ distances from the house, generally with a margin of error of only five feet or less. Weather conditions and tree coverage may affect this margin.
If you’re a homeowner interested in adding a pool, deck, or patio, but you’re not sure where your septic tank is….
If you’re a custom builder tasked with building an addition to a home, and you want to meet county-specific requirements without the hassle of locating the septic system yourself…
If you’re a pool company concerned that a home’s septic system may affect your project…
A septic system map may save you hours of time and help prevent liability concerns in the future – for instance, a pool that was installed in the middle of a leach field, or a deck built right above a septic tank.
As a system is mapped, the coordinates of various points, like the tank, are logged. All you need to do is look up the GPS coordinates to locate any of the objects that have been marked.
Here is a Sample GPS Report.
