AMBASSADOR INSPECTIONS - GPS/GIS SEPTIC SYSTEM MAPPING
Terms of Service
Please note the following information carefully:
1. The map we produce is not survey quality, and all locations and distances are our best estimates taken from available data. Most measurements have a margin of error of 5 feet or less, and the map will take the margin of error into account when providing location information. The goal is to show you where you can safely locate new improvements relative to your septic system's location.
2. The map we produce is for planning purposes only, to assist in determining the best location, orientation and size of any desired improvements. You and/or your contractor are ultimately responsible for any design or plans you make and for the actual installation of any improvements. As part of the permitting and construction process, you and/or your contractor will need to confirm the information provided by our map before beginning the construction process. Ambassador Inspections will not be liable for your failure to confirm the information we provide prior to construction.
3. GPS points are shown in a three-foot trench, and the edges of the trench must be located to
determine the physical location of the GPS points.
4. Our mapping services is only available for your septic system. We do not mark or show any other underground utilities or structures. Our mapping information may need to be supplemented with information from the NC-811 utility locator service.
